Applying to our courses is simple. Once you apply, a course consultant will speak with you and handhold you throughout the entire admission process. So for a first step, please click on the APPLY button on the top of the page and fill in the relevant information. It should take you only about 3 minutes! Once we receive your application, our course consultant will contact you for further process.

It usually takes 1-2 weeks after your test and interview for us to process your application. You should know your admission status within these period

Well, don’t worry too much about the interview. Our lecturers speaking with you want to find out how passionate you are about the program you are applying for. It’s really more of a chat. And you should ask for any relevant information you have too. For the test, we are aptitude and attitude, so don’t worry if you have no experience or background in this area.

Yes, you may. But this depends on your status of admission. If you are already admitted, and it is very close to the start date of the course, some penalties will apply. Please ask our course consultant for more information and detail your current situation in the email. 

No, we do not need you to have any background to join our courses. However, we do expect you to work hard during our intensive course.

We are open Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm except on weekends. 

All our classes are hands-on sessions. Students here don’t learn by writing essays, they learn by doing. As such, students can expect to be using the various techniques and processes to deliver the outcome they desire.

Our main lecturer is an industry veteran. We do have some teaching assistants to assist in class deliveries. 

Our intake cap is 25 per class. As such, we may have upwards of 100 students studying in our academy at any one time. This ensures we have a good tutor to student ratio to ensure maximum learning capacity. 

Unfortunately, as a fulltime student here at Pet Universe Cosmos, our classes are intense, and students find it hard to work and study at the same time. If you are an international student, it will be against our law to work, as your visa is a student visa.

If you are a student or graduate from Pet Universe Cosmos, we have services in place to assist our students for job placement. However, take note that we do not guarantee job placement.

The underlying pre-requisites for all courses are:

1. Minimum 16 years old
2. Completed secondary school

It really all depends on your portfolio and works. The best companies hire based on the quality of your works and your personality. If you have a strong collection of works to show your abilities, and are eager to learn and do. You could succeed in this field

The pet grooming industry looks mostly at your ability. What you are capable of doing. As such, it is about your skills. Once you amass a set of works, to showcase your important artistic abilities with different tools, you are ready to start your career.

Student visa is applicable to international students only. Once you apply and are admitted to our course, our administrator will work with you for the application of your student visa.

It depends on what course you apply for. Different courses have different time duration. The most important thing is to satisfy the academic requirements in order to graduate.

Our students spend an average of 6-8 hours in school daily, learning and practicing. In order to hone your craft, practicing is essential. We do not put a limit to how much the student can be here learning.

Our main academy headquarters where we conduct all our training is in Malaysia. 

To answer your question: THE APPLICATION CHECKLIST required consist of 

1. 300-word essay about yourself and on why you want to be a pet groomer and why you chose us
2. Educational certificates and school document transcripts
3. Your 400×514 px white background photo
4. Scans of your NRIC (for domestic applicants) or Passport (for international students)

Our student‘s age range mostly from 18-35. There really is no upper limit to our course, but what we are looking for is the passion, and desire to succeed, as well as the attitude towards learning.
